I have been visiting the park for over 25 years on numerous trips. Of late it has been two to three trips per year to the park.

Hike the Closed Canyon Trail in Big Bend Ranch SP This trail is a fun and easy hike through a slot canyon near Lajitas, Texas in Big Bend Ranch State Park. There is plenty of parking at the trailhead and a covered picnic table. The hike is mostly flat, but some big rock negotiation is necessary.
